According to the reports received by the “Human Rights Activists for Democracy in Iran” (HRDAI), a young, defenseless prisoner lost his life in the central prison of Bandar Abbas due to lack of medical treatment.
On Sunday December 16, 2012 a young 26 years old jailed man called Abbas MehdiGhouri, died in ward 1 of Bandar Abbas central prison after suffering from 2 days of acute intolerable pains and following no response to his and his cellmates’ frequent request for transference to the clinic and receiving treatment.
Bandar Abbas central prison is one of Vali-al-Faghih prisons in which the prisoners are living in medieval conditions, deprived of their minimum humanitarian rights. Those detainees who declare objections against these inhuman conditions will be vulnerable to brutal tortures in especial solitary confinements, sometimes ending in breakage of their hand, leg or harm to their other body members and even death of the detainee or his disability.

Human Rights Activists for Democracy in Iran condemns the medieval, barbaric and inhuman conditions in Mullah Ali Khameni’s prisons against the defenseless prisoners. We urge the High Commissioner for Human Rights, and UN Special Rapporteur on Human Rights to refer Ali Khamenei’s case to the international courts for trial to end the against humanity deeds of Iranian regime.
