On Sunday, 2nd of December, political prisoner, Habib Riginejad
Shorki, 32 years old, who is sentenced to death, was transferred from
public Section 4 to quarantine Section of the central prison of Zahedan.
The aim of this action still is not clear and since he is a hostage of
Rigi family in the prison and sentenced to death, this transferring is
suspicious to be for execution.
On the other hand, this political prisoner is on the hunger strike to protest against the reasonless transferring to quarantine Section and announced that he will continue his strike until returning back to Section 4.
Quarantine Section is one the sections under absolutely medieval conditions and the prisoners are subjected to psychological and physical tortures and most the times are held with manacle on their hands and feet.
Transferring of the political prisoner, Habib Riginejad Shorki, has been accomplished by the order of Khosravi, the warden of the central prison of Zahedan, who is among the torturers of supreme leader in Zahedan prison. This person has committed many crimes against political and ordinary prisoners in the prison and is one of the criminals against humanity.
“Human Rights Activists for Democracy in Iran” condemns the transferring of political prisoner, Habib Riginejad Shorki, who is sentenced to death to quarantine Section, and warns about threatening his life, and urges High Commissioner for Human Rights and other international authorities for ending the crimes against humanity in Iran by referring the case of Mullah Ali Khamenei and his regime to the international courts.
