Group inhuman execution of 6 prisoners in Ghezekhesar Karaj prison

According to the reports received by the “Human Rights Activists for Democracy in Iran” (HRDAI), 6 prisoners were hanged in unit 2 of Ghezelhesar prison of Karaj.

On Wednesday, December 26, 2012, six inmates, aged between 26 and 60 years old from the halls 1, 2, 3 and 7 of unit 2 of Ghezelhesar Karaj prison were executed.    

 The names of a number of the prisoners whose inhuman and medieval decree of death sentence has been put into effect are as follows:

1-      Bayat, Mansour. 26, who was imprisoned for 3 years in hall 1 of unit 2 of Ghezelhesar Karaj prison.

2-      Mohammadi, Doustali. 60 years old. He spent for 7 years in hall 2 of unit 2 of Ghezelhesar Karaj prison.  

 The policy of execution of the political prisoners, group hangings of regular prisoners and bloody suppression of Iranian people is adopted by Ali Khamnei. This policy is implemented by Mullah Sadegh Larijani, head of Judiciary –appointed by Khamenei- one of the criminals against humanity and Mullah Moslehi, Minister of Intelligence and Sohrab Soleymani, Head of the Prisons Organization.          

Human Rights Activists for Democracy in Iran condemns the group execution of 6 prisoners in Gezelhesar Karaj prison by the Mullahs and especially Ali Khamenei for creating intimidation atmosphere in Iran. We urge the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights and other international authorities to refer the Mullah Ali Khamenei’s dossier to the international courts for ending violations of human rights and crime against humanity in Iran.
