Mullah’s regime prosecutor in Zahedan threatens the father of Baloch political prisoner to choose between a televised interview against his son or his death

According to the reports received by the “Human Rights Activists for Democracy in Iran” (HRDAI), Zahedan city prosecutor Mohammad Marziyeh puts the Baloch political prisoners’ families under pressure to choose between death of their children or taking part in televised interviews against them.

During the last few days, Mohammad Mrziyeh, Khamenei’s prosecutor in the city of Zahedan has summoned Mr. Mohammad Rigi many times and has put him under severe pressure to persuade him for attending a televised interview and repeat what the regime dictates against his son who has been convicted to death sentence.  

Mohammad Mrziyeh has threatened Mr. Mohammad Reza Rigi that he will execute Rigi’s son, Abdulvaheb if he refrains from having a television interview against his child.

Abdulvaheb Rigi, who was arrested at age 17, has been sentenced to death. He had long been exiled to Qazvin prison, but two weeks ago, after the news of his exile spread, the teenager was moved to ward 1 of Zahedan prison, known as adolescents’ ward. Threatening and pressure on this political prisoner’s father has been intensified after his transference to Zahedan prison. 

 It must be mentioned that the other children of the family Abdulbasit Rigi who was an internet activist was executed in Zahedan prison a while ago, along with two other fellow Baloch political prisoners.

From the most notably officials who play major role in bloody suppression of the Balochi people and execution of the Baloch fellow political prisoners, Mohammad Marziyeh, General Attorney of Zahedan, Colonel Zakeri, one of the security officials of the province, Commander Bashir Ahmad Rigi (who is said to be the 4^th in security officials’ ranking of the Province) and Mahgoli, the branch 1 head of Zahedan Revolutionary Court can be mentioned. Mahgoli issues all the death sentences and heavy punishments against the Baloch political prisoners. The above mentioned officials commit systematic and organized crime against humanity in Sistan and Baluchestan Province.

Human Rights Activists for Democracy in Iran condemns citation, interrogation and pressuring the Baloch fellow political prisoners’ families for taking part in false TV confessions against their children and threatening them of hanging their children if the families refrain to participate in such scandalous interviews. We urge the High Commissioner for Human Rights and other international authorities to refer Ali Khamenei’s case to the international courts for trial in order to halt the crimes against humanity in Iran.

The jailed blogger is endangered since the Intelligence Ministry interrogators disagreed his treatment

According to the received reports by “Human Rights and Democracy Activists in Iran”, the jailed blogger, Mohammad Reza Pourshajari (Siamak Mehr), is in a poor health condition without access to the treatment.
This jailed blogger, in addition to a few diseases caused by 8 months being in solitary confinements and physically and psychologically torturing, is prevented to be cured by the order of Intelligence Ministry interrogators. Some time ago, he fell into coma because of a cardiac artery blockage and eventually was hospitalized in Karaj prison clinic.
One of the doctors in the clinic of Gohardasht prison treated him during the unconsciousness and coma and said to him and the staff that he should be considered for testing in a hospital outside the prison for attempting to unblock the coronary artery, otherwise, he will have a heart attack and a serious threat to his life.
But, the Intelligence Ministry interrogators, who have the absolute authority to decide about political prisoners, prevented him to stay in the clinic and transferred him to the central penitentiary prison of Karaj. From that date  until now, he is banned to access to treatment and medicine, and his life is in danger.
“Human Rights and Democracy Activists in Iran”, is warning about the serious threatening of this jailed blogger life , and urges high commissioner of human rights and Special Rapporteur to intervene and stop these crimes against humanity in Iran by referring the Mullah Ali Khamenei case to the international courts.

A jailed Iranian church leader appeals to the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights and other international source

The jailed priest, Behnam Irani, a member of the board leadership of Iranian churches, asks for help from the High Commissioner for Human Rights. He mailed his appeal to “Human Rights Activists for Democracy in Iran” to be released and sent to the UN Special Rapporteur, International Amnesty, other international sources, and media. His letter is as follows:

“ I am a priest, Behnam Irani, born in 23 Oct. 1968, in Tehran city, accused for actions against the security of the country, and unfair publicity against the ruling regime. During two trials, I was convicted for 5, and 8 months imprisonment, and at this moment, on 1^st of Nov.,  it is exactly 17 months that I am living in the central penitentiary of Karaj. About 14 years ago, in 1998, I was approved by the Missionary center (Hook) in Zurich, Switzerland as a priest and servant of Jesus, and I served Churches in Iran and neighboring countries.

Generally, Evangelical Churches of Iran always undergo injustice, such as the execution of the priest, Masoud Soudmand, for apostasy accusation, the chain murders in 90’s among them were holy men like Bishop Haik Hovsepian Mehr who was an Iranian Protestant Church council representative, and Mehdi Dibaj who after more than 9 years imprisonment, and two or three months after his release was assassinated, and also the pastor Michaelian, and pastor Ravanbakhsh who was hanged in the Mazandaran forest. From the past until now, almost always the Christian believers and servants were among the prisoners. 

In the churches of Iran, that I am honored to serve them, for nearly 20 years, we are under the psychological stresses and security pressures by the regime, and enduring many hardships and tragedies. In 90’s, repeatedly, the Intelligence ministry police attacked our homes in different cities. When the incumbent president , Mr. Mohammad Khatami was talking about the dialogue of Civilizations, the members of our churches were mistreated and harassed just because of gathering for god worshiping and religious collaborations.

Pastor Yousef Nadarkhani who is responsible for the Church of the Rasht was sentenced to death because of apostasy accusation, but after more than 3 years uncertainty was convicted for 3 years imprisonment and was released about 2 months ago. At the time, his wife the mother of two kids, was also arrested and detained for 4 months.

The church of Iran which I am a member of its leadership board, obviously was attacked in 9th Dec. 2006, between 7 am to 10 am in the Sunday morning by coordinated operations in 3 cities of Tehran, Karaj, and Rasht. Along with me 9 other servants and officials of the church among the church leadership council were arrested.

For 10 days, I was staying in the solitary confinement in Section 8 of Rajaei shahr prison of Karaj city, which is known as Section 8 of Sepah (which belongs to Intelligence ministry), under interrogations and sever psychological stresses . Eventually, I was released after 10 days, and by judge Asif Husseini, in the revolutionary court in Karaj Branch 1, was sentenced to five years imprisonment.

From that time until 13 April 2010, that I was arrested and beaten in a domestic church in Karaj, repeatedly, summoned to Intelligence ministry offices and related buildings in Tehran, Karaj, and Rasht and interrogated. In the Wednesday afternoon of 13 April 2010, we were in a domestic church doing the religious ceremonies, and suddenly faced the armed forces attack.

One of them asked my name and when realized that I am Behnam Irani, beat and pushed me on the ground, and tied my hands behind the head, and directly transferred to Section 8 of Rajaei Shahr prison known as Sepah section. I was under interrogation for 77 days and in revolutionary court, the judge Ensafdoost explained the arraignment of my accusation for unfair propaganda against the regime. However, at the same time a number of other servants to the church were also arrested. I was released after 77 days on 100 million Toman bail, in 28 June,2010. I was detained again on 22 Jan. 2010,  in revolutionary court branch 9 leading by Ensafdoost for Blasphemy publication charges on a 20 million bail, and transferred to Rajaei Shahr prison Section 8, but 3 days later after 11 pm suddenly they took me out from the cell and said  that I am free.
Eventually, for the detain on 13 April 2010, by the revolutionary court,  headed by judge Samavati, I was convicted for  8 months imprisonment and sent to the Karaj central penitentiary in 30 May,2011.
I was in the prison when received a proclamation that the 5 years of Suspended imprisonment has been changed to definitive sentence, and I must be imprisoned for other 5 years. It is disappointing that the regime in Iran repeatedly speaks about the freedom of religious minorities in Iran, but its treatment to Christians and especially Persian Christians is tyrannical.

About 1 week ago, after the third reports of Ahmad Shahid which noted the human rights violations in Iran, the representatives of Armenian and Assyrian minorities attended an Iranian TV channel program and claimed that Christian minorities are absolutely free; I expressly state  that such a thing is not true, and the imprisonment of me and many other Persian Christians proves the reality.

I repeatedly sent leave requests, but did not receive any response, and finally with the help of the social assistant office in the prison, I realized that in my profile has been written that based on the judiciary referees I do not have any right like other prisoners.

I want this report to be sent to Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International, Reporters Without Borders, Special Rapporteur of the UN Human Rights Council and all human rights organizations and the media.

Physical and psychological torturing and enticement of Baloch political prisoners to confess against Molavi Abdolhamid

According to the reports received by the “Human Rights and Democracy Advocates in Iran” the Baloch fellow political prisoners in torture chambers of the Intelligence Ministry (IM) have been put under pressure through physical and psychological tortures as well as subornation to confess against the Sunni leader of Sistan and Balochistan province, southeast of Iran.     
Almost most of the Baloch political prisoners in Zahedan prison undergo brutal physical and psychological tortures by the interrogators to confess against Molavi Abdolhamid. The IM interrogators normally fasten the political prisoners to a bed called the “miracle bed”, tie his hands and feet and put electric shocker on the sensitive parts of the prisoner’s body for prolonged periods of time; biting by the cable, prolonged hanging, denuding the prisoners and filming of them, threatening them for arresting their mother, sister, spouse, children and father and torturing them before the eyes of the prisoner and numerous other tortures.          
During these barbaric tortures the prisoner is asked to assume the responsibility of the operations occurred in the province and state that Molavi Abdolhamid had been the commander and encouraging figure behind such actions    
The IM interrogators and especially Mohammad MArziyeh, General Attorney of Zahedan, call the political prisoners who are supposed to be executed the next day and propose them that they would be released immediately if they repeat in front of the TV camera what the interrogators dictate. From these prisoners was Abdolbaset Rigi, the freedom fighter martyr who was recently executed. Several previously executed political prisoners had received such proposition before.

Human Rights and Democracy Advocates in Iran condemns torturing and enticement of the Baloch fellow political prisoners to confess against the Sunni leader, Molavi Abdolhamid for the purpose of case building and damaging this religious and political figure. We urge the High Commissioner for Human Rights, and UN Special Rapporteur on Human Rights to refer Ali Khamenei’s case to the international courts for trial.

Group Execution of 3 inmates in Gohardasht Karaj Prison

Group Execution of Three inmates in Karaj, Gohardasht Prison:

According to the report of human right and democracy advocacy group in Iran, 3 inmates who were transferred to solidarity confinement in Gohardasht prison, were hanged This morning.
Today, Wednesday, October 24th of 2012, 3 prisoners from section 5 known for juvenal, and section 6th of Gohardasht prison were executed. These three prisoners were transferred to solidarity confinement from section5 and 6th of the prison.
The name of the three inmates are as follow:
1) Shahrooz, borne 1984 2) Mohamad Dastmozd from 17th hallway of section 6th of Gohardasht Prison of Karaj, who was imprisoned since 2004. 3) Sadegh Koohi, 27 years old, who has spent more than 8 years in prison.
Economic pressure, high cost of living, poverty and unemployment has caused people loose their patience and push them to their limit. However, Ayatollah Khamenei has terrorized people, and has dramatically raised the number of execution, and hysterically mass killing: Ultimately we are calling on our fellow Iranians inside Iran, to gather in front of The Cleric leader's palace, and force him to stop the executions and more over, we ask our fellow patriot Iranians in abroad to gather in front of United Nation offices to demand for immediate refer Ali Khamenehei and the Iranian regime to Security console and to be trialed for crime against humanity
