The Revolutionary Prosecutor of Bandar Abbas city of Iran brings the political prisoner Arjang Davoodi to trial

According to the reports received by the “Human Rights Activists for Democracy in Iran” (HRDAI), the interrogators of Ministry of Intelligence and National Security (MISIRI) of Mullah Ali Khamenei have implemented new case building plan against the political prisoner Arjang Davoodi and have summoned him to The Revolutionary Prosecutor of Bandar Abbas.  

The political prisoner Arjang Davoodi was taken to the Branch 5 of assistant counselor of Bandar Abbas prosecutor following a new case building by the MISIRI interrogators and a new case was constituted against him by an individual called “Panahi” who was an ex-interrogator of the MISIRI.       

The allegations that the interrogators have mentioned against him are: 1-Action as to disrupting the order in ward 209 of the Evin Prison, 2- Lecturing for the adjacent cells’ prisoners and announcing his status report and incitement other prisoners to resist, 3- Writing slogans against the leadership of the country on the toilet of the No. 45 solitary confinement of ward 209 of Evin prison.

Panahi, head of Bandar Abbas city Branch 5 of assistant counselor of the prosecutor interrogated Davoodi and filed a lawsuit and a 15 million Tomans arrest warrant against this imprisoned teacher.  

Prisoner Arjang Davoodi has spent in Khamenei's prisons under inhumane medieval conditions, since 2003. Mullah Ali Khamenei’s Office ordered confiscation of his house; his spouse was arrested for 4 months and was kept and tortured in solitary confinement of the ward 209 of Evin prison for no reason.

Since his imprisonment, the MISIRI interrogators have moved the political prisoner Arjang Davoodi to the solitary confinements of the ward 209 for several times and have arranged case building against him despite his status as an inmate. He has been transferred to the notorious prison of Bandar Abbas since several months ago and is being kept in inhuman conditions without having the right to have contact with or visit his family.  

Human Rights Activists for Democracy in Iran condemns new case building against the political prisoner Arjang Davoodi and establishing inhuman limitations against him and depriving him from his preliminary human rights. We urge the High Commissioner for Human Rights, and UN Special Rapporteur on Human Rights and other international authorities to refer Ali Khamenei’s case to the international courts for trial to end the against humanity deeds of Iranian regime.

Murder and torture of defenseless prisoners by the jailers in Bandar Abbas central prison

According to the reports received by the “Human Rights Activists for Democracy in Iran” (HRDAI), a young, defenseless prisoner lost his life in the central prison of Bandar Abbas due to lack of medical treatment.

On Tuesday Jan. 02, 2013, A 30 year old prisoner, Abd-ol-Rahman Daryanavard who had been transferred from Roudan jail of Hormozgan Province to Bandar Abbas central prison due to deterioration of his physical conditions, died following receiving no treatment and inhibition of the prison Chief of referring him to the hospitals in town. His corpse left unattended for several hours.

If this prisoner promptly transferred to a hospital in Bandar Abbas, certainly his life could be saved.

But one of the usual inhumane methods that is common in all of the mullahs' regime the prisons is inhibition of defenseless prisoners from receiving medical treatment so that the imprisoned are murdered through the pains and suffering from ailments.  

Also the prisoner Ali Ameri, nearly 28 years old, was transferred to solitary confinement called special cells for protesting against the medieval conditions governing the prison and the exhausting pressures and brutal behavior of Khamenei prison guards.

Khamenei’s tormentors tortured this young prisoner to such an extent that he was on the verge of death. Of the tortures that were used against him, hung up for a long time, torturing using hemlock and electric truncheon and most criminal sexual assault, that is torture of defenseless prisoners through dipping baton to his anus. Systematically torturing through anal rape of prisoners is common in almost all Ali Khamenei’s prisons.

The injuries from the torture of this prisoner were so severe that he was hospitalized for 16 days in Mohammadi hospital of Bandar Abbas, and was returned the ward 3 of Bandar Abbas central prison on Monday Jan. 01, 2013. The prisoner's physical and mental condition is very poor. On the other hand, all his personal belongings were stolen during his hospitalization period he can’t afford to buy them again.   

Human Rights Activists for Democracy in Iran condemns inhibition of medical treatment for the patient prisoners and implementation of medieval, barbaric and inhuman tortures in Mullah Ali Khameni’s prisons against the defenseless prisoners. We urge the High Commissioner for Human Rights, and UN Special Rapporteur on Human Rights to refer Ali Khamenei’s case to the international courts for trial to end the against humanity deeds of Iranian regime.

Young prisoner dies in Bandar Abbas central prison for lack of medical treatment

According to the reports received by the “Human Rights Activists for Democracy in Iran” (HRDAI), a young, defenseless prisoner lost his life in the central prison of Bandar Abbas due to lack of medical treatment.

On Sunday December 16, 2012 a young 26 years old jailed man called Abbas MehdiGhouri, died in ward 1 of Bandar Abbas central prison after suffering from 2 days of acute intolerable pains and following no response to his and his cellmates’ frequent request for transference to the clinic and receiving treatment.       

 Bandar Abbas central prison is one of Vali-al-Faghih prisons in which the prisoners are living in medieval conditions, deprived of their minimum humanitarian rights. Those detainees who declare objections against these inhuman conditions will be vulnerable to brutal tortures in especial solitary confinements, sometimes ending in breakage of their hand, leg or harm to their other body members and even death of the detainee or his disability.           

Human Rights Activists for Democracy in Iran condemns the medieval, barbaric and inhuman conditions in Mullah Ali Khameni’s prisons against the defenseless prisoners. The prisoners seize control over Bandar Abbas central prison

According to the reports received by the “Human Rights and Democracy Advocates in Iran” the prisoners in ward 2 of Bandar Abbas central prison in protest to the invasion and brutal torture by the prison guards and inhuman conditions took control of the ward. 
On October 26, 2012, the ward 2 prisoners of Bandar Abbas central prison took actions in controlling the ward by themselves on protest to the raiding and brutal torture, intolerable hygienic conditions, drastic reduction of food rations and medieval prison conditions in the Mullahs prisons. Upon this action all the guards chose to release the ward and escape. The ward 2 was under control by the prisoners until 31 of October.
From 26th of October the ward guards invaded several times towards the prisoners using tear gas but their attacks were defeated each time due to the prisoners’ resistance.
On Oct. 31 the ward guards accompanied by masses of special guards and extensive use of tear gas attacked the ward 2 that led to the conflict for 3 hours long. Finally the prisoners agreed to surrender the ward control to the jail officials by the prison chief promises.
But the jail intelligence did not keep it promises and they removed 25 prisoners out of the ward 2 and transferred them to the special solitary confinement cells called the “dog house”.
In solitary confinements of Mullah Ali Khamenei, they were placed under brutal tortures by the guards, resulting in broken arms, legs, body parts injured and severe bruising on their body members.
One of the prisoners whose legs were broken due to such brutal tortures was Yasser Shouri.
One of the regime’s henchmen that torture the defenseless prisoners in special cells, the dog houses, is “Keshtkar”, who is the chief of the intelligence of Bandar Abbas central prison. Another person called Haji Mahmoodi is the chief of the inspection of Bandar Abbas jail. These two torturers have committed against humanity crimes through inhuman and brutal deeds.
Mulla Ali Khamenei determines the torture policy and bloody suppression of Iranian people as well as hanging the political prisoners and group executions and implements this inhuman policy through the Mullah’s network that have control over the Judiciary, The Ministry of Intelligence and other suppressive institutions
“Human Rights and Democracy Advocates in Iran” condemns the physical and psychological tortures, reduction of food rations and maintaining inhuman conditions against the defenseless prisoners by the regime in Iran. We urge the UN Secretary General, High Commissioner for Human Rights, and UN Special Rapporteur on Human Rights to refer Ali Khamenei’s case to the international courts for trial to end the against humanity deeds of Iranian regime.
