According to the reports received by the “Human
Rights and Democracy Advocates in Iran”, Mullah Ali Khamenei’s Intelligence Ministry (IM) interrogators have
started dispatching noise waves towards
Gohardasht political prisoners’ Hall from 4
sides, causing serious ailments among the targeted prisoners.
The interrogators have installed
powerful jamming devices on all 4 sides of the Hall 12 of ward 4 of Karaj
Gohardasht prison and are targeting heavily amplified noise waves on this small
and isolated hall within which more than 60 detainees have been housed. The
noises are so strong that the prisoners are not even able to get public radio
and television.
Since commencing of noises all political
prisoners have started suffering from serious diseases such as: dizziness,
headache, nausea, lethargy, and extreme psychological pressure. These noises
are highly carcinogenic.
The political prisoners’ protests against
these inhuman acts have remained unanswered. All political prisoners in Hall 12
of the Gohardasht prison have written a letter to the chief Mohamed Mardani who
is from the against humanity criminals and have insisted on stopping dispatching
of such cancer-causing jamming waves.
Political prisoners have stressed in their letter that they will collectively
take widespread protest measures should the dispatching of jamming signals are
not halted.
Mullah Ali Khamenei who is on the verge of public uprising of Iranian
people, has intensified crackdown on political prisoners, including the jail guards’
brutal attack on women's ward of Evin prison and insane shameless treatment of
female prisoners, transfer of the lawyer Nasrin Sotoudeh, the brave and courageous
political prisoner to solitary confinements of Section 209 of the MI torturing
chamber while she has been on hunger strike for several days, and this most
recent inhuman act of insanity emitting of noise waves against political
prisoners in Hall 12 of Karaj Gohardasht prison.
Mullah Ali Khamenei is advancing this policy through Moslehi and his
torturers in the Intelligence Ministry. Through these medieval practices, they
are pursuing the goal of creating an atmosphere of fear in the society. But
this criminal and inhuman plan will end in failure by the female political
prisoners who are now on hunger strike and mass protest in Evin prison and by
international protests.
“Human
Rights and Democracy Advocates in Iran” warns about the serious threat
to the political prisoners from the strong jamming waves. We urge the UN
Secretary General, High Commissioner for Human Rights, and UN Special
Rapporteur on Human Rights to refer Ali Khamenei’s case to the international
courts for trial to end the against humanity deeds of Iranian regime.
