| Kazemeini Boroujerdi, the pro-secularism political inmate activist |
According to the received reports by “Human Rights and Democracy
Advocates in Iran”, recently,
the Intelligence Ministry agents assassinated the relatives and supporters of
Mr. Kazemeini Boroujerdi to create an
intimidation atmosphere in the society and especially against activists.
Following the continuous summons and threatens by Intelligence department of
the cleric court to the relatives and supporters of Mr. Kazemeini Boroujerdi , they are asked to
renounce from his thoughts and opinion and reconsideration of their ideas.
Recently, new wave of attack has been observed using
dummy car incidents, and reasonless clashes by unknown persons during various
hours of day and night, and invader escapes when people intervene. Ms. Fatemeh
Sameni, the close relative of Mr. Kazemeini Boroujerdi , is one the victims of
these harassment. Her family described that the first incident was during the
day, when a car derived next to her and
somebody inside tried to grab her bag and dress resulted in stumbling and dragging
on the ground for some distance, and finally the presence of people compelled
the car to flee.
The other harassment
was few nights ago, when she was returning back from her workplace and walking
to home but suddenly faces a car trying to drive over her. Ms. Sameni tried to
run a way, but the driver approached, struck, pounced her to a corner and
finally concealed, then witnesses took
her to the hospital. Her family are extremely worried about her health, while
she and other relatives are repeatedly threatened by anonymous phone calls. “ “Human Rights and Democracy
Activists in Iran”,
condemns the terror tactics against the relatives and supporters of Mr. Kazemeini
Boroujerdi for creating intimidation atmosphere , and urges high commissioner of human rights and Special
Rapporteur to intervene and stop these inhumane actions by referring the
Mullah Ali Khamenei case to the international courts.
